Claudio Bravo has been offered to join New York City when his contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season, according to , and he s currently mulling over it.
The goalkeeper joined the Premier League champions from Barcelona following the arrival of Pep Guardiola in 2016, but the manager obviously wasn t satisfied with his services as he moved for Ederson Moraes only a year later. Since then, Bravo has been used exclusively in domestic cups, apart from a few emergency situations when Ederson was unavailable through injury or suspension.
Manchester City are unlikely to offer the 36-year-old fresh terms, and a switch to New York, who are also a part of the City Football Group, seems a likely outcome.
Meanwhile, Guardiola has apparently been impressed by the progress of 24-year-old Zack Steffen, currently on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf, who is a likely candidate to step in as a ready-made solution when Bravo leaves the Etihad.
